Misia Furtak: „In February 2021, speaking about fighting obesity among adolescents, Minister Czarnek stated that additional classes will be directed especially at girls, because „there is a bigger problem here”. This statement rang in my ears for a long time. How badly do you have to not get all the problems associated with eating disorders and body image that these girls are going through? Celebrity culture causes several-year-old girls to go on diets. And later in life, they are in pursuit of the „perfect figure”. The suffering and fear do not disappear. I congratulate Minister Czarnek on his next post (yes he received yet another one – this time it’ll be development of nuclear reactor technology), but perhaps it would be better to learn to do the former well first. And to you, reading this and also to myself, because I too have been struggling with this for many years, I encourage us to love our bellies. And our everything. ❤ „
