‘Paintings, galleries, exhibitions, it’s all still to come’. – Antek seems to be convincing himself rather than his wife, who stares gloomily at the piece of paper with the test results. Vera is a young painter, with a beautiful house immersed in greenery overlooking the lake, a handsome husband who earns well, a cuddly dog called Chagall and a brutal diagnosis of an incurable illness. The couple must face the inevitability of her illness, but the reactions of both are extremely different.
